• Do you know that there are over 20 toxic waste sites in Stratford?

• The EPA is proposing digging, hauling and dumping this toxic waste in residential neighborhoods in town at one of the following three sites: OU3 Upper Ferry Creek, OU4 Raybestos Memorial Ballfield, OU9 Short Beach Park and Stratford Landfill

• The EPA has proposed the cheapest option for clean-up because they feel they can get the most “Bang for the Buck” by dumping toxic waste in residential neighborhoods. Click here to review the EPA costs for each property

• Do you know the possible health impacts of exposure to this toxic waste? Visit the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ASTDR) for more information on Asbestos , Lead and PCBs.
  

• Do you know the possible health impacts of exposure to this toxic waste for your children? Lead paint has been in the headlines because of its use in toys, but did you know it can be can also be an issue if its in the soil or dust in the air? Asbestos is also a health concern for children when airborne or brought into the homes as dust.

• Do you know the impact of this toxic waste on your property values?
